Timeless

"Timeless" is the word my lovely friend Kaitlyn used to describe this outfit we put together for her to wear on this shoot.  The inspiration started with this sweet little 50's vintage plaid dress I picked up at Nobody's Baby in Eugene.  We added the trench coat from Banana Republic, a few vintage accessories, and chose this rustic footbridge as the setting.  The project would not be complete without another fabulous hair and makeup creation by Molly....the side swept undo, the soft eyes, the red lips.  Beth was part of the project too, another pair of eyes on the whole scene is so helpful.  We had hoped for a cloudy morning, and it was just perfect.  Although a few times, I had to have Beth hold the reflector to block the sunlight peeking through the clouds onto Kaitlyn's face.  This was shot with my Nikon D800 and 85mm lens at f2.8, shutter anywhere between 1/250 to 1/640, depending on how the sun was peeking out, ISO 100.  Edited in photoshop using actions by Totally Rad.  The ladies of this project can be found on Instagram @kaitydid4848 @mrsmollybrooke @retrogoddess217.  See more photos from this shoot in a previous blog post.
