I started this blog back in 2009 and it's been an amazing journey creating a brand, small business, and becoming a portrait/wedding photographer.  These were things I never imagined I could accomplish.  I always wanted to be a creative person, but never really found my outlet until I rediscovered photography in pursuit of making content for this blog.  In the last couple of years especially, the business of creating portraits for clients took the place of other creative personal photography projects.  But it was such a blessing and stretched my skill and taught me so much, not only about photography, but about people and customer service and running a business and creating on demand.  Now I feel the need to take things back in a more personal direction.  I'll still be doing portrait/wedding jobs this year, but a little less.  And this will hopefully allow me to do more creative photography projects and focus on the brand and blog again.  It's always a little scary to change the focus of your brand, but that is the wonderful thing about blogging.  This little space on the internet is always here for me to come back to...whatever it is I'm taking photos of or whatever is on my mind, this is the space for it!  Thanks for following along.

These photos were taken in downtown Eugene, so many cool street murals we have in town!  Wearing Seven for all mankind jeans and Jack by BB Dakota cardigan.
